Traditional Scottish Dinner Show
- Duration: 3 Hours (approx.)
- Location: Torphichen, West Lothian
When you arrive at The Torphichen Inn, you will be met by the village bagpiper.
A complimentary welcome drink is offered and dinner consists of a three-course meal, followed by tea or coffee. Our menu is entirely made up of traditional Scottish fare. All meat and fish is locally sourced.
Your host for the evening, Mr Kenny Craig, owner and landlord of the Torphichen Inn, will entertain and amuse with facts and anecdotes about the historical background of the Inn, and the importance of the village of Torphichen in Scottish history.
Kenny will then ‘Address the Haggis’, and a sample of haggis will then be offered to guests to taste. As they say, ‘when in Scotland!’
After you've enjoyed a taste of Scotland's national dish, dinner will be served.
Live Scottish folk music is performed during dinner, and a full bar is open throughout. There will be an opportunity for a sing-song too, some guests have been even inspired to dance!
Sadly then it is time to go but you will be leaving with a smile on your face!!
** Shuttle Buses are available from Linlithgow Train Station - book when purchasing tickets
** Please note the Inn is wheelchair accessible but at this time there is no separate disabled washroom.
