Walk in the footsteps of Jamie and Claire on an unforgettable Outlander adventure through Scotland.

Inspired by Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander books and the iconic Starz series, this immersive tour takes you to some of the most recognisable filming locations in Central Scotland.

While the novels are set largely in the Highlands, much of the TV series was filmed in Central Scotland — with many locations close to our home in Linlithgow.

? Castle Leoch – Doune Castle

Our adventure begins at Doune Castle, the magnificent 14th-century fortress that became Castle Leoch, home of the MacKenzie clan. We’ll also pass The Kelpies, Scotland’s spectacular giant horse sculptures.

? Cranesmuir – Culross

Next, explore beautiful Culross, the fictional village of Cranesmuir.

Wander its cobbled streets and recognise locations including the Mercat Cross, where Claire’s witch trial takes place, and the stepped garden behind Culross Palace, which became Claire’s herb garden.

⚔️ Fort William – Blackness Castle

Visit dramatic Blackness Castle, which became Fort William, the stronghold of the infamous Black Jack Randall.

Explore the fortress and enjoy its spectacular setting on the River Forth.

❤️ Lallybroch – Midhope Castle

And then comes that special moment…

Lallybroch!

Also known as Midhope Castle, this beautiful tower house is the ancestral home of Jamie Fraser.

Stand at the gates, soak up the atmosphere and imagine Jamie returning home.
